Operating on gut instincts and New York velocity insults have served Trump very well so far
in terms of opinion polls. Meanwhile his admirers are beginning to resemble a sort of mirror image of this famous brain dead groupie, that is a caricature of fawning fandom. All that might carry him through to the nomination. But his candle is burning awfully bright and saying whatever pops into your head without thinking through the consequences is a risky way to run a marathon length campaign.
