A true historian. If you like Brian Kilneade and Bill O’Reilly history books, then Beevor is not for you. His “Stalingrad” and “The Fall of Berlin” are classics.
But the real question for Mr. Beevor should be, How was it possible for the G.I.’s who held out, outnumbered; against the might of the 6th SS Panzer Army and the 5th Panzer Army with not a single combat unit being intergrated with women???
