Cuba’s Christian population is bigger. Of course, they all live in Florida!

No, they are just irrelevant. Not one American in a thousand concerns himself with ethanol subsidies when Muslim radicals are gunning down people in our streets.

And, rightly or wrongly, Trump is perceived as being the strongest to deal with the issues that count. I've lived with ethanol subsidies for 20 years or more and it hasn't affected my life, that I can tell, one iota. Yah, I'm agin' em on principle, but right now the nation is in danger of being overrun and destroyed, and as good a guy as Ted is, he simply isn't up to the task of turning this around.

Same thing in NH. Adrian Gray, a GOPe consultant, rushed out a poll showing Rubio "surging" (gotta love that word) in NH. They are pulling out all stops---including elevating Cruz temporarily, before squashing him---to stop Trump.

I'm astounded that all the Cruz supporters here think NRO and National Journal and Jim Geraghty and Charles Cooke and Jonah Goldberg and Guy Benson all really think Cruz is "coming on" and are being supportive of him because they LIKE him.

These people hate Cruz, and the second they think they have Trump derailed, you'll see a crap-storm of bad press on Cruz that will make your head spin.

... The difference with Cruz is stark: the senator from Texas chooses principles over short-term political gain...

Interesting how those principles aren’t written in stone, they change for long term political gain.

> “And how many come out of NYC?”

Regarding evangelicals, orders of magnitude more come from NYC than come out of Cuba.

In fact, the evangelical community in NYC numbers greater than most mid-sized towns in America.

I am calling this media bias because I heard Trump last night (can not recall all of it right now) but there was more to his comment than what is presented in the article....That is how the left plays, just tell 1/2 the story which makes it sound like something it is not!
*********************************************************************************
Yep, that is how the left plays a story and, unfortunately, many of the less discerning fall for it and quickly are doing the dance intended by the left. Fools!

GOPe-MSM-DNC Establishment will FALL to the Ted Cruz-Donald Trump 2016 Victory Campaign : 2015-12-11

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3371447/posts

Their delegate counts for the 2016 GOP Convention will be as follows:

Ted Cruz @ 37.80 percent
Donald Trump @ 27.3 percent

for a total of 65.1 percent ... enough for a "first ballot" nomination.

Ted Cruz will ask Donald Trump to be his Vice President, and Trump will accept.

Trump will pledge his GOP Delegates to Ted Cruz, and the rest will be history.

How many Evangelicals were coming out of NYC 69 years ago, when Trump was born?

Here is a legitimate question to all the TRUMP supporters who may have Ted CRUZ as your 2nd choice.

Consider this, if Donald Trump stays in the GOP why bother then ?

Why bother ? To have Ted Cruz as your 2nd choice if Donald Trump is a sure thing to win the nomination ?

If Trump stays in the GOP are you not saying ?

For those who have Ted Cruz as your 2nd choice are saying ?

Are you not saying ?

That Donald Trump might fail ?

That Donald Trump might fade ?

By your own admission by saying that Ted Cruz is your back up plan insurance policy 2nd choice just I’m case Trump fails ? Just in case Trump fades ?

Why then ?

Do the Trump supporters get on and condemn anyone other than a Trump supporter for saying that TRUMP might fail, Trump might fade ?

That, IS a legitimate question.

Many many. NYC is a huge metropolis with many enclaves that are solidly evangelical. The Presbyterian Pastor Norman Vincent Peale was highly charismatic and evangelical. He was there in NYC at the time of Donald’s birth. My relatives in Queens knew of him and of many many others.

NYC has a long history of evangelical Christianity by heroic Christians that spent their entire lives rescuing teens and helping the poor, getting the word out from the Gospels. And many of them put their lives on the line doing it.

Anyone who thinks NYC does not have a large evangelical community has, in NY street parlance, has their head up their ass.

The Black evangelical community in NYC has numbers that are larger than most mid-sized towns in America.

His father attended the Marble Collegiate Church when it was the place to see and be seen in New York City - that is, when celebrity preacher Norman Vincent Peale (the Joel Osteen of the 1950s) held court there with the Rockefellers, the Paleys, Lucille Ball, Steve Allen, and other celebrities and movers and shakers.

Back then it was considered "mainline" and it was decidedly anti-fundamentalist.

You know, a pre-golfing ritual.

Peale was an evangelical?

"“It’s not necessary to be born again. You have your way to God, I have mine. Christ is one of the ways. God is everywhere.” - Norman Vincent Peale, Phil Donahue interview

Because, in their minds, Trump can only fail because of a conspiracy against him.

When you say that Trump could fail, it's because you are plotting against him.

When they, in dark moments, fear that Trump will not become the Caesar Augustus he is destined to be, it's only because they know of your treachery.

Sorry, I grew up not far from NYC, spent A lot of time in three different boroughs (Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn) and know too many NYers to accept the putdown.

I could say that there are more Catholics from Red China than in any city in the U.S., but that is only because Red China is so huge. So, yeah, there might have been tens of thousands of Evangelicals in NY 69 years ago . . . out of EIGHT MILLION residents.

People can say anything on the internet especially when anonymous. What you just said is BS, nothing of value.

Don’t post to me again.

Oh so you’ve been reading what cranks have to say on the internet without researching the context? That quote was addressing the existence of God, not the Will of God which can only be known by spiritual rebirth through Jesus Christ.

The twisting of that quote was thoroughly debunked.

In 1966, Billy Graham said “I know of no one who has done more for the Kingdom of God “ than Norman Vincent Peale or anyone that had personally helped him with his words of encouragement.

In 1984, Ronald Reagan awarded Norman Vincent Peale the nation’s highest civilian honor, the Presidential Medal Of Freedom.

“Hostage” is just as anonymous as “Dr. Sivana”, and you are the one who used vulgar language to refer to me first.

I will post to you whenever appropriate. You don’t have to read it.

BTW, you didn’t bother to REBUT a single fact that I presented, because you can’t.
