I have a disabled friend who contracts with grocery stores, BigLots, Walmart, etc. to bring back carts. He borrowed money from me to buy wheels, ‘hoods’ (whatever that is)and now replaces bent, wobbly wheels. Other businesses in the three areas he patrols give him a stipend to keep the carts rounded up, so their customers don’t get Po”D. I do his taxes. He makes a healthy return depite his disability. Did you notice the carts were plastic? In high crime areas they use plastic carts because they know if they have metal carts people will steal them and break them down just for the metal.
