Cross Canadian Ragweed
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cross Canadian Ragweed was an American Red Dirt/Texas Country/Country rock band. The name of the band came from the combination of three band members' names, Grady Cross (guitar), Cody Canada (guitar, vocals), and Randy Ragsdale (drums). Jeremy Plato's (bass) name was not involved in the band naming.

Bad place to enjoy good music. Several years ago, I went to see Merle Haggard but failed to buy a seat near the stage. Every time he started a song, the crowd yelled and screamed so it was impossible to hear him. I left after three songs.
I saw ‘em in ‘05 at Willie’s picnic. Short set, but a good one. They played Ray Wylie’s “Wanna Rock’n’Roll”, and a little later, Ray played it. David Allen Coe in between. Good times; I’m an old guy, but a total red dirt convert and Ragweed fan.
