Read the transcript. Hewitt is a Rino and wants anyone but Trump. He and Joe Scarborough were lamenting and analyzing what needs to happen in the next month or so in order to prevent Trump from winning in Iowa. They both want Christie to now win in NH. Hewitt tried to act like he could not really go there because of his upcoming role as debate moderator.
But Hewitt and Scarborough were indirectly talking about while it is likely Trump could win, they now think Christie is the one that could take Trump out of the NH win.
And then Scarborough said the writing was on the wall that Clinton would lose but he was devastated that he even had to go there, he supports Clinton.

Barack Obama is creating a void that people like Donald Trump can step into and if Hilary Clinton stays tentatively behind the President of United States instead of worrying about protecting us at home and worrying about protecting us across the world, then she is going to, I can not believe I am saying this, but it is the truth, she will lose the general election.

Hewitt should not be allowed to moderate another Republican debate. He has already moderated one debate. He hates Trump and is only supporting Christie because Jeb is unable to muster any traction in Iowa or New Hampshire. Hope the people in New Hampshire show the Rino Establishment that they are not going to fall for the lies anymore.
