But this is White Marsh, a nice suburb with one of the area's most major shopping plazas with hundreds of stores and restaurants including IKEA, and also the Comcast headquarters and lots of other industrial businesses. Shocking.

Allender Road @ Rt. 40 Pulaski Highway is about 5.4 miles from the White Marsh Mall area.

Pulaski Highway has some pretty seedy areas all the way up from Baltimore City to Harford County. There are parts of Edgewood in Harford County to be stayed away from.

I think it’s pretty seedy pretty much everywhere. The parts of it that exist in Howard County are terrible, and it’s of course Edmonson Ave. and Orleans Street in the city. I’m hard pressed to think of anywhere along 40 that you could call a decent place. My ex-wife’s boyfriend is a dirty white trash neck from Edgewood, and the African-Americans in the Joppa/Edgewood/Abingdon corridor are truly pieces of work.
