Just to bracket the discussion: if all above-sea-level ice melted, oceans would rise about 230 feet. A 7’ rise would take melting about 3% of ice.

He's plodding along, following a predetermined script to a tee - the problem is that neither he nor his handlers have the necessary cunning to spin any of it in a believable way. They just slam it all together and it comes out blatantly ridiculous.
