Worked as bartender part-time many years ago (30?). Made bank. Loved it. Did it for years. Moved on.

Tried again a few years ago for a bit of extra cash... my how the world has changed. Lots of customers. They just don’t tip like they used to. In this economy, a beer costs too much to begin with. Tipping on top of it? I didn’t last long, we’ll put it that way.

Princess riverdawg works part-time as a waitress (usually 12-15 hours a week) while attending college. She typically makes $250-300 a week, double what she made at her on-campus work-study job with the same hours.
