I understand that people smoke by themselves, but half a joint in one sitting is my question. I just read the article, and it appears the active ingredient (THC) was administered intravenously and not by smoking in the double blind study. So, the researchers were administering an amount comparable to 1/2 to a whole joint. Some how, it just doesn’t seem the same to be mainlined THC through a needle in your vein as opposed to the more traditional methods of smoking a joint over the course of an evening or day.

I know a guy that, as far as I can tell, gets off only on the increased rush of taking a hit. He’ll sit and suck down 3 or 4 bonghits for breakfast, even out, do the morning routine...work, dealing with the public, etc. with a headful that incapacitates anyone else. Then it’s bonghits for lunch. He looks like a redneck cracker...I don’t think many people know how ripped he is. Been doing it for decades.

Wow - that is amazing. Made me think of some alcoholics I have known who appear to be normal after they have been drinking all day, and no one would know by their behavior and functionality that they are ripped. Sounds like most of our Govt. officials now that I think about it.
