‘Clock Boy’ Ahmed Homesick in Qatar, Wants to Come Back to Texas
Breitbart ^ | 12/01/2015 | Merrill Hope

Within days of demanding a total of $15 million from the City of Irving and the Irving Independent School District, “Clock Boy” Ahmed Mohamed announced in a long distance phone interview from Qatar, he is homesick and wants to come home to Texas now.

In October, Ahmed accepted a fully-funded education scholarship from the Qatar Foundation, an organization with reputed ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, over an invitation to MIT, which is among the most prestigious institutions of higher learning in the world. The family announced they would relocate to Qatar to accommodate his education, which they did.

Dallas’ KTVT 11 (CBS) interviewed the teen from halfway around the world over Facetime. Now, Ahmed claims he misses Texas. “I want to go back to a place where everyone knows me,” meaning the kids he grew up with. He also hinted a trip to Dallas may be in the works over the Christmas holiday. He told the CBS affiliate he is ready to come home and wants to do so immediately, but insists last week’s armed yet peaceful protest outside the Irving mosque stopped him.

If they move back to Texas, the CPS should take him away from the parents for abuse.

Let me revise this it not the kid ..it the crazy adults trying to make political statements using this kid

first this was no great enginnering feat...this kid took apart some store clocks and put it a case... probably prompted by his dad ...and he made look bomb like....then he shopped around school through multiple classes till he got reaction

so let start with the first part.. treating taking apart of a cheap store clock and putting it in a different case as some great engineering feat .....enough to earn your a full ride at MIT.. that crazy... that’s offensive

Hey, genius, why don’t you construct a transport machine?

Oh, that’s tight—no Radio Shack in Qatar.

Meanwhile, a Moslem girl from his high school in TX stated on FOX today that she has zero problem with “racism”/acceptance by the local community.

Of course not. I've lived in Irving/Valley Ranch nearly 20 years, though my kids have been in Coppell ISD since we moved here.

There are now two large "Islamic Centers", and one is about 1/4 mile from the Dallas Cowboys HQ. Over 50 languages are spoken in our 'burb, and most everyone (except for the grandparents) seek to assimilate. It's not perfect, but we try to live and let live.

Watching middle school football is a real hoot. Boys from different cultures learn very quickly that girls dig football players. About 1 in 4 continue on to 8th grade FB, after getting their rail-thin skinny a$$es knocked around during 7th grade FB.

I think I understand Ahmed's plight: he's going through puberty, and burka clad women are no comparison to American girls. His gig is up, IMO.

Today I learned that the Qatar Foundation, an organization with reputed ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, has a nice long Christmas holiday break.
