I am struggling to ‘get’ the whole ‘legendary’ system. If you can aquire a ‘legendary’ anything at early levels, then how ‘legendary was it’ to begin with? Are we to assume that all these special pieces of hardware that pop up simply were gotten by some loser raider at Lev5 and he became this uber badass because of it?
On the other hand, I’m at level 77 (lots of level grinding) and just got a ‘Legendary lead pipe’ off Gunner.
I have to think either they REALLY misnamed/understood the word “Legendary” or I am totally missing the point. In Skyrim/New Vegas they had it as it made sense. If you encountered a legendary dragon/Deathclaw, you were either high level or somewhere you were too low to belong in and that was the game’s way of guiding your progress.
But here, “Legendary” is everywhere and it makes no sense to me. Not a dealbreaker by any means as I just ignore the whole system now/pretend it doesn’t exist and get on just fine, but confusing for Bethesda.
I have a pipe rifle with incendiary and I modded it up into a pretty good sniper rifle that hasn't been surpassed by weapons 2 tiers above it. Also you can't break down legendary items.
Legendary mobs means they drop legendary items, i.e. the feared LEGENDARY RADROACH. Lol, go figure.
Level 77?
