I agree, TCM is what I miss most from cable.
But there is a substitute available on Roku. It’s called “Classic Reel”. It’s no where near as good as TCM, but it has movies from the 30’s up to the 70’s. Most digitizations are OK, a few are poor. We typically find something good to watch.
Right now we are taking an intermission in the Carry Grant/Grace Kelly movie “To Catch A Thief”.
It costs $1.98 per month for unlimited viewing. No advertising. Sometimes the streaming gets a bug and you gotta reboot.
