I have seen this in my local branch of the Seattle Public Library. Virtually every left wing magazine that you can think of is on the racks, From Mother Jones, New Republic and the Nation to the Advocate. The closest thing to a conservative publication is the Wall Street Journal.

At my much smaller city library I used to frequently attend before the internet, we had all those publications plus something called "The Progressive."

The latter is just as leftist as the other mags, but has the "virtue" of originating in Madison, Wisc. making it Wisconsin's contribution to the world of leftist politics. Am I ever thrilled. /s

However, I am grateful to my library for stocking "Conservative Chronicles." That was like a Readers Digest of conservative articles and did a lot to push me off the fence from moderate to conservative.
