The TCU team had all the momentum, and it looked like Oklahoma would be destroyed in overtime. Then Patterson (coach) decides to grandstand. OU got outplayed by a team that was missing its main offensive weapons and was playing a third stringer QB. I understand that sometimes you get lucky, but that game should have dropped OU in the standings. Baylor, for example, beat OSU convincingly and gets overlooked by the committee. Iowa hasn’t faced a real opponent, and I’m sure it couldn’t beat Ohio, Baylor, TCU, or several other teams. If Iowa were in the SEC no one would have heard about them.
