“There is a John Waters movie called Pink Flamingos that delves into that very subject. “

Watch the documentary of Devine sometime. What a weird bird he was.

They list absurdly unrelated and unverifiable “facts” such as “stronger storms”.

And isn’t it amazing that GW never causes anything good.it must truly have an evil mind of its own.

How about milder winters, longer growing seasons, reduced energy costs, etc.

Not that any of this stuff is happening due to GW.

True. Those that don’t believe don’t publish.

...97 percent or more of actively publishing climate scientists believe climate-warming trends over the past century are very likely due to human activities...

In other words, we keep the climate sceptics to 3% of the articles.

I watched the video at the link.

“How to talk to a climate change denier”

To summarize the video:
- Find a “denier” who isn’t armed with any facts
- Make sure the conversation cannot last more than 5 minutes or more than one or two back-and-forth statements.
- Regurgitate the same old lies the Waministas have said for years.
- Be condescending. Childishly insulting is even better.

The video doesn’t address:
- How to talk to a “denier” who challenges your shallow assertions.
- What to do when the conversation involves reasoning
- How to last more than 5 minutes

“In fact, studies suggest that 97 percent or more of actively publishing climate scientists believe climate-warming trends over the past century are very likely due to human activities.”

Awww, bless their little hearts... the true believers are still trying to push that false narrative. That 97% is drawn from a tiny, selected sampling of 70 respondents to a survey.

I watched the video too, and as usual liberals:

1) Only have unsubstantiated 'bullet points' that prove nothing.

2) Sneer at you thru their glass of wine as they're 'enlightening' you.

3) Already believe you are a fanatic, when in fact, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, they embrace their cult-like religion, just like their precious muslim brethren do theirs.

“They actually need a tutorial on what to say when meeting someone with a different viewpoint.”

Well, when they try to debate us without their talking points, they get their posteriors handed to them, so I guess some of them figured out they need to get a game plan together :)

Majority opinion has no place in a scientific debate. That’s the logical fallacy of argumentum ad populum. One man with the truth trumps a million men in ignorance. They also commit the fallacy of appeal to consequences.

Going further...

In fact, studies suggest that 97 percent or more of actively publishing climate scientists believe climate-warming trends over the past century are very likely due to human activities.

97% say something is very likely? How likely? 50% likely? 10% likely?
