Did hizzoner do so many drugs back in the day that he doesn’t know the difference between a show and reality?

Poor, delicate progressives. They just can’t handle words, images or flags.
I just started watching this show. Good story and I’m enjoying it. It isn’t “the usual.”
The Americans is another one I can’t wait to see more of.

Mayor Bill de Blasio wants to censor free speech, isn’t that what the Nazi’s did?

” While these ads technically may be within MTA guidelines, theyâre irresponsible and offensive to World War II and Holocaust survivors, their families, and countless other New Yorkers, said de Blasio “
I didn’t know you could stack stupid that high.

That’s “Nazi themed”?
It looks like a mash-up of an German iron cross and the eagle from a federal alphabet soup department.

Isn’t DeBlasio’s real name Kaiser Wilhelm or something like that? Maybe the show is too close to the truth for his comfort.

We don't have television, and few new programs are woerth watching. I decided to look at this one (when children are out of sight and ear range) and found the storyline to be compelling.
I do find that the Joe Blake and the Judy/Trudy characters don't look like their era (1962), even an alternate time line version. It's not the clothes so much as the demeanor, the hair and something about the faces taht I cannot describe. The artist with the Jewish grandfather played his part well.
I found it strange that even cheap dives and homes had full color televisions in 1962, when almost everything else is slow developing. These are quibbles, however.
I am only through 1 1/2 episodes, but am pleased that other than the occasional F bomb, I haven't felt dirty watching it.

They could actually run a show about how a country is taken over by speech control fanatics who shout down anyone who voices a different opinion. Where people lose their jobs, and have their lives totally destroyed for not adhering to the party line. Where any group who says it is “offended” can rampage through city after city, while the cops and citizens have to sit by and watch what they have worked their lives to build is swept away by fires and looting.
Now that would be a truly frightening show.
Oh, it would actually be a documentary on the late great United States.
