This came from the Aircraft Carrier crew the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Dwight D. Eisenhower’ nick name was “Ike”. I am not sure if he got that name when he was the Supreme Allied Commander in World War II or later on when he became President?

Nevertheless, the latest Star Wars movie is called, “Star Wars The Force Awakens”. The Navy spoofed it and called it “Sea Wars The Ike Awakens”. Meaning the Aircraft Carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (aka Ike or Ike Awakens).

I believe Ike picked up the nickname as a child in Abilene, KS.

I know I know I know...I was just teasing because that’s how it looks in the graphic. It could use a little more letter spacing between the e and the a. That said it was a very clever production and I enjoyed it. Sent it to my former Air Force, Star Wars mega-geek friend just to irk him. ;)
