The "-Bey" suffix at the end of Rashad Bugg-Bey's name suggests that he is a member of the Moorish Science Temple, a strange and frequently violent sect of black Americans who identify as Muslims. Members add -Bey or -El to their surnames to signify their new Islamic faith. It appears from this story that Rashad Bugg-Bey may have taken the recent knife intifada among "Palestinians" to heart, believing it a good time to stab some Infidels in Washington.

You hear people say its war and you kinda brush it off, problem is its invasive, it will reach out and consume the weak, to control them, they will believe that by taking your soul it makes them stronger.

Clothing, thats a good one, first off i live in Alaska so i do have an advantage by wearing heavier clothing, but the incident took place indoors, i had just a t shirt and a flannel work shirt on. Since i own and ride motorcyles i do have leather, leather helps. I thought about wearing light body armor but what stops bullets doesnt neccesarily stops a stab wound.
I even researched chain maile, yes medeival times steel, or modern aluminum maile, they have polycarbonate rings as well.
But imagine wearing it.....
Dragonskin and others have a material thats good against knives, but not for bullets. Leather does good, its a tradional armor in some respects, and if you are good with your hands you can heat up leather, make it hard but not brittle, sew panels of it into you vulnerable areas of outer clothing.
But that for heavy clothing, otherwise in a warmer climate not much you can do and not look obvious.

I cannot even imagine what you have gone through. I am sorry that happened to you. But how you have responded, working through your injuries to make your upcoming trip happen, is just....awe-inspiring.
(Apologies if this came across as too forward, since I don’t know you, and am even too new around FreeRepublic to post privately. It was just that your post left me speechless, and I could not help but respond).
Sometimes you feel the need to get it out in the open, you could not know but its very possible another person has been traumatized just like, or worse, they may just depend upon internet social circles, and maybe that person thought...oh hell, why not just say the hell with it, and they do something terrible.
But maybe, hopefully, they read this, they read it archived later through a google search, and it becomes an inspiration, a light in the sea of fog and insecurity.
So i think its ok to to do this once in awhile, and for others to do it. We just have to keep on fighting. And should we win we might be whats needed to help others overcome the obstacles of life.

Thank you all, before i forget i should mention that even i don’t know exactly his motivation to kill us both and to burn down the house, from what i do know is he found something on the internet, a cult, or some group pretending to be a cult like Slenderman, and i do believe it was suppressed racial hatred. I knew him on a daily basis for at least 6 months unless i’m wrong by that account, i treated him with respect, fed him, entertained him.
But evil reached out and selected him, he laughed at the judge and mocked the court, he did that because he believed in a movement, an evil ideology, and he kept it well hidden from us. Because they taught him how to act normal. The enemy is smart, it has resources, its so close it can be felt like an animal breathing down your neck. I knew evil was there that morning, i even talked out loud that something was about to happen to Mollie, little did i know it was about to happen to us, we thought it was elsewhere.
I constantly monitor my son and his video gaming, especially since by some news accounts evil is using gaming chat like on Playstation and even Xbox.

At what point did you realize there was an attack occurring?

We smelled smoke, it was about 5 am, we just had breakfast, we both smoked, she joked it was my cigars, i told her my cigars don’t smell like that, she went to the back of the house, yelled at me to get the fire exstinguisher, they were not to be found...
She ran back to his room, i had a pot of water, the young man opens door and stabs her in the neck, it was so fast and with the smoke it did not register with me, lots of smoke, he then stabbed me both sides front and back, last time i saw her alive was then, she was in pain and holding her neck, no visible blood, me i wrestled with him i think almost 5 minutes, i was cut all over on my hands, i was trying to breath but my lungs were not working cause i was bleeding internally, another man, one of her other foster kids who was sleeping in another room pulled him off me, i went into the kitchen and held her hand as she was on the floor, her breathing had stopped, no pulse, we checked it, i was spurting blood out every time i breathed.
I watched the swat team enter, then the emts, i watched them try to bring her back before they took me away, i passed out maybe two blocks later, was air lifted to Anchorage, woke up about 6 hours later with tubes all over me. They said even if she was in the er within minutes they still would have lost her, the carotoid was severed.
I spent 6 days in the hospital, i pissed off a few people with my urgency to leave there.
So to answer your question, i knew it was going to happen, but not by who, the idea of her foster children being that dangerous was never thought of because the the Office of Childrens Services insisted he was non violent.
