Friends, it's Sunday night again and time to relax. Warm up the tubes for another 4 hours of classic radio Americana.
Info *tonight's show will be available at the "Info" link starting tomorrow.
Official OTR blog of "The Big Broadcast" thread:
A great lineup tonight...Fred Allen...some detective shows with Nick Carter master detective and Falcon...then a great 10pm with Suspense (with Alan Ladd) and Lights Out...
How's it going? Nutty people around here are already putting up Christmas decorations...
It's another fine lineup! Looking forward to it. I remember this Johnny Dollar episode, and I believe it's supposed to be called, "The Life At Steak Matter." :-)

Hey Gina, I love that you know that.
How’s the weekend been?
Hi, Vision! It sounds like it was a pretty day there, as it was here, just gorgeous! And you have people getting all Christmassy already! :-)
It’s chicken thighs on the Green Egg and laundry! Yay! We just bought a load of firewood from our neighbor across the street, so we have a whole lot for our back yard fire bowl.
What is up with that? Is that happening around there? Don’t think I’ve ever seen people skip over Thanksgiving...
You’ve been busy! A cool, new phone! I’ve never heard of wireless charging. That’s snazzy!
Food sounds good, too. We have people here decorating for Thanksgiving. We shut off our Halloween lights, and we’ll put up some Christmas ones after Thanksgiving.
Not quite yet able to be sponsored by "New, Post-War, Old Dutch Cleanser".
HA! Right! :-)
That was Georgia Ellis on Gunsmoke, wasn’t it?
Yep! I love her, as I love all of the Gunsmoke radio cast.
Chattanooga choo choo in spanish is pretty cool.
Yes, it was cool. I noticed the “PC” element to the skit, though. *sigh*
I missed it.
