I am very interested in having more information about this type of diet. I think that we need more fat and protein, and less sugar and carbs.

Note the physicians in these videos report the intake of protein needs to be limited to prevent the metabolism from using the protein in neoglycogenesis to produce glucose in the bloodstream instead of going into nutritional ketosis and using the ketones from the fats for fuel. For some obese males as one example the limits on protein may be somewhere in the range of around 63 grams to 75 grams of protein per day.

Correction: where I wrote, “to prevent the metabolism from using the protein in neoglycogenesis,” I meant to say gluconeogenesis and not neoglycolgenesis.
