I think if anyone has a right to be offended it is the Nazi party, American Indians, Hindus and probably others. Originally the swastika was a good luck sign, least I read that somewhere.

FWIW. I did some research on it. The origin of the swastika is from India. Jewelry shows the Sanskrit swastika well over thousands of years ago. The translation of it's name is "Svastika".It means good luck. The Nazi's stole the emblem and turned it at an angle. They omitted the four dots in the spaces of the old Swastika.
The photographs supplied by police are made public. On close examination using "zoom" the feces smear was apparently placed on part of a scratched swastika. The positioning of the offending graffiti, was of the old style swastika - the lucky charm.
