It saddens me that so few Freepers understand that there is a fundamental conflict between government run schools and the First Amendment.

To maintain order all schools,, both private and government, must restrict First Amendment rights. This is perfectly OK in a private school because parents have **privately** agreed with the policies of the school.

When government schools restrict First Amendment rights it is not OK. One of the worst aspects of government schooling is that children are at risk of learning to be comfortable with government functionaries restricting their God-given rights.

There is no solution to the conundrum. Government schools pit one group of neighbors against another as each strives to impose their worldview on their neighbor's children.

Solution: Begin the process of privatizing all schooling on every level.

Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc. etc.
At this stage, any Freeper that does not know what the tenth plank of communism says has to be a FINO.
