This thing can fly for ten minutes instead of 45 seconds! It uses real jet engines.

Hard points for ordinance? I imagine you could mount some rockets underneath the hand controls. :)

All with a device you can put in the back seat of a car!â Pretty cool. Best i've seen so far, and i've been keeping up with a lot of Jet-Pack designs. This one for example.

I am mindful of daddy when I watch this. Thanks for helping me to remember. I think all of us young at heart wanted one of these.

Ok, it takes you 6 minutes to reach 10,000 and 7 minutes
to come down, how far above the earth are you when your
fuel runs out. No common core please.

For certain applications, including having "fun", 10 mins is a significant amount of time. It is also orders of magnitude better than anything before it. A light person could also carry more fuel, so it isn't a fixed 10 mins. Why, with enough fuel, it could probably lift Michael Moore for almost 2 seconds!

What kind of engine(s)? As near as I can tell they are turbine jet engines that burn either diesel or kerosine.

Looks like fun. Yup. But so do a lot of other things that will get you killed pretty quick. :)

Diesel, kerosene, and JET-A are essentially the same thing. Different additives, possibly different sulfur content.

Wanted? Past tense? I don't have any plans to be flying one. Too much other stuff I need to stay alive for.

15-20 mile range isn’t too bad (100+ mph max for 10+ minutes depending on weight).
quick hop but definitely needs to last longer

-1.0 minutes (6 minus 7), so you’ll be on the ground 1 minute prior to departing, which makes sense. And I did that WITHOUT my Common Core Calculator.

To the Future Darwin Award winners:
Burning jet fuel on your back, flying dozens of feet above the hard ground, nothing to break your fall, around buildings and trees and birds, at upwards of 30 mph...
What could possibly go wrong?
:-)
To: DiogenesLamp
Definitely would be fun to take to work and back.
