Fallout 4 fans who were disheartened by the terrible reviews of Carlsbergâs Fallout 4 beer will be happy to know that the Jones Soda/Target Nuka Cola Quantum collaboration is getting great reviews.
Itâs no surprise then that Targetâs website seems to indicate that the soda is completely sold out in many of the storeâs locations and unavailable for online shipping. The answer to this may surprise you â according to redditor /u/HellraiserGN, Target employees may be buying the soda to re-sell on eBay as itâs bound to become a valuable collectorâs item.
Another redditor, /u/viiiktor456 reported that they arrived at Target as soon as it opened and saw someone pick up every case of Nuka Cola available. It seems some stores may not have anticipated putting a cap on purchases of the soda, although /u/AckAttack6710 confirmed that at least one store limited customers to two per person and /u/Xombin reported that their store only allowed one per person. Target has not commented on whether or not there was a storewide policy to curb the problem.
While the bottles retail for $2.99, theyâre already up on eBay for at least $20 per bottle. A few are even selling for $150 per bottle -- and people are buying them.
If interested, read the comments below the article. Some Target employees on the thread seem to be confirming that this was not managed well at all.
The problem is that these companies have no way to stop it. If target or whoever limits employees, they just have the wife/kid/whoever buy it.
All Bethesda could do is sell online and then it becomes a shipping nightmare/costs/laws etc when food/beer is involved.
They know it’s going to be an ebay circus but there’s not a lot they can do really other than not make special products at all. Which sucks for everyone. Or just mass produce for a month to thwart resale and forget ‘collector’ crap.
Well I did the buy 2 get 1 free target promo today, got three games for 75 bucks shipped to store..dont need the soda or beer or whatever it is I can live without it
But who’s got all the shoulder-launched mininukes?
Thank You for posting beaversmom!
That Means Sunset Sarsaparilla is still up for grabs!
Now the Threat of Legal Action forces me to Say that Nuka Cola is a Swell Beverage, but sometimes people just want something different you know?

Haven’t heard of this ... guess I missed something. To bad, so sad.
Have you gotten Fallout 4 yet Sarah?
What games did you get? :)
It’s sleazy behavior by target employees, but the quantum is just repackaged Berry Lemonade from Jones Soda Co. Not worth the markup at $3 bottle.
I can’t even figure out what this headline means! What’s this all about?
My boys got PS4 and FO4 earlier tonight.
Oh how cute. There’s a guy sitting outside Rivet city right now dehydrated because no one will bring him a simple bottle of pure water, and YOU are worried about the legal ramifications of a trade war.

My best friend got his copy last night.
We went to a video game store at 11:00pm and he waited in line.
I sat in car watching Trump’s speech from yesterday on my Android phone using the free wifi from the Office Supply store.
We damn near hit a deer on the way home! It was a scary close encounter...whew
I’m no gamer but the graphics are awesome!
Not being a game player ... now I can understand. Thanks.
It’s a limited edition beverage related to the Fallout series video games and the release of the latest edition, Fallout 4, today. I’m not all hip either. I just know some of this stuff through a friend and my kids. But it would have been a fun collectible related to the popular games for fans. Even if it wasn’t worth as much if they produced more and didn’t let them get all scarfed up by Ebay resellers before the product had a chance to hit the retail floor.
OH My Gosh! So Jealous!
I don't have either! :)
This will explain everything.
Sort Sweet and to the point.

Though Fallout 4 takes place on the East Coast, The Original Games were set on the West Coast.
Smiles. I let them use some of their saved b-day/Christmas money from over the years.
Thanks, KC. :)
