True - but people have this idea that satan runs hell. What the bible says is that hell was created for him and the angels that followed him and we will all watch him being tossed into the pit (and marvel at what a sad sack of crap he is). Satan isn’t going to be in charge of anything - he will however be screaming in agony forever (not counting one small break).

Hell was not made for people, but people can go there if they want.
