It is making fun of PC attitudes......the humor may not be to everyone’s taste (including mine) but the message here is not that cops are bad...they are sticking it to the pc liberal crowd I am pretty sure.

As a side note, the creators of South Park are libertarians. From Wikipedia:

South Park co-creator Trey Parker is actually a registered member of the Libertarian Party. Fellow co-creator Matt Stone sums up their views with the comment, "I hate conservatives, but I really f**king hate liberals."

When Isaak Hayes quit the show over them bashing his “religion” they turned his character into a pedophile.

Trey’s not a Christian, but he got in a good slam at atheists....
