Toussant's
Fortune Teller was a hit for Benny Spellman in the early months of 1962. At the same time, Bobby Curtola charted with a totally different song, also entitled
Fortune Teller. This may be the only time in which two different songs with the same title were on the charts.

sorry to hear this. I met him once in the 1980s backstage at a benefit concert. Many of us amateur musicians were performing along with some pro’s who had volunteered to perform. For someone who had worked with Paul McCartney I found Allen to be laid back and quite easy to talk to. RIP Allen.
