Although a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and Tai Chi, back in 7.14.95, I tried to duck a robber's .32cal from 20ft, and got hit in the side. Missed all organs, bones, arteries, veins, nreves etc. Still carry the chunk inside the pelvis.

I've carried ever since; now a 2009 Kimber® 1911 "Eclipse Target II™" .45cal ACP, w/ extra Wilson mags.
