So those domestic violence ads the NFL cut last year...SNL skits, right?
In many states, domestic violence cases are considered offenses against the state. It doesn't matter whether or not the victim wants to bring charges. Is this the case in North Carolina?
the woman refused to show in court when Hardy was charge so please spare me the violins.
She could have hit him first, or it could have been an accident of some kind. If there were no witnesses, who knows....
(didn’t read the entire article)
Hardy “was suspended most of last year and for four games this season... under the leagueâs domestic violence policy, but didnât face criminal punishment.”
As one who lived in Dallas during the era of Tom Landry and Roger Staubach, it’s hard for me to be a Cowboy fan today.
I know folks who refer to them as the “Dallas Convicts”.
So sad.
The Cowboys will probably cut him as soon as they can replace him.
In the meanwhile, they will support Hardy since it will hurt the Cowboys season if they cut him. That means it will cost Jerry Jones more money if he cuts Hardy now.
Hardy will probably continue to play as long as he is a top Defensive player in the league. It’s ALWAYS about the money no matter what they say.
NFL: Negros, Felons, and Liberals. No one else need bother apply.
Last picture I saw of Gene Jones and Charlotte Jones Anderson (wife and daughter) was on a milk carton.
Maybe Jones doesn't know what the word "condone" means.
Maybe he meant "condemn".
Since these photos were nearly two years old and since then he missed a season and served the leagues suspension, and am having a little bit of trouble understanding by Jones or the Cowboys are now supposed to be compelled to cut him. This is old news and just a hit on Jones, the Cowboys and Texas by the leftwing Northeast media.
These same people had NO problem making a hero of someone involved in murder but played without any penalty in Baltimore. That guy was turned into a hero.
Pathetic to see middle aged men sporting the jerseys of these thugs and hero worshipping “their” team. Get a life.
Forget the Cowboys......Dallas needs to get behind some real winners, the Stars, who are kicking butt so far.
