In the old days, I bet there would be 5 corpses dangling by their necks in the public square within 48 hours or less.

Then there wouldn't be any more gang rapes for a while, at least not until that memory needed to be publicly refreshed again.

If you're bringing the old world back, you might want to bring back some of the old ways of dealing with it, too.

I hear you. And IMO if government won't punish wrongdoers than it should be up to the people. I know if I had a daughter or a wife or mother who was gangraped and the government did almost nothing to punish the rapists I would find a way to make sure they got what was coming to them myself.
