We do have a spineless House and a spineless Senate and they are both in bed together...along with the wimpy dope that is leading our country, or excuse me, leading his muzlim brotherhood buddies....
Good for Charlie Daniels, it's about time people put this p.c.b.s. in the trash can where it belongs and start saying what you mean!!!
The GOP imposed every destruction of America,
for Soros, for themselves, and for al Qaeda.
Paul Ryno’s response?
Well this won’t sit well with all the newly resurfaced Romney apologists. Nor the no matter what crowd.
Because Charlie is simply wrong. It’s lesser evil that gets us conservatism. Purists with principles are the problem. Charlie advocated being like the founders. Not a month past, I had one freeper telling me their words were nonsense.
Wake up charlie. Conservatism as a different meaning these days. And on Free Republic. Just ask it’s lesser evil posters. They will get your mind right. No matter what.
Excellent. Everyone needs to read it. Needs to be on Drudge.
God bless this brave man!
Patriots need to stop pointing the finger at the corrupt Washington cartel as the main problem with the nation and point to themselves.
More specifically, the Progressive Movement spooked our ancestors into putting pressure on state lawmakers to ratify the ill-conceived 17th Amendment (17A), state lawmakers foolishly giving up the voices of the state legislatures in Congress by doing so.
Ratifying 17A completely defeated the Founding States purpose for establishing the Senate which was to protect the interests of the states in Congress. In other words, 17A effectively repealed the whole Constitution imo.
The ill-conceived 17th Amendment needs to disappear, and senators who help the corrupt House to pass unconstitutional bills, bills that not only steal 10th Amendment-protected state powers but also steal state revenues uniquely associated with those powers, along with it.
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
“You canââ¬â¢t hide from the truthful answer to that question forever, an answer will be required of you one day.”
An answer that will be required from every, EVERY Republican senator (INCLUDING THE SAINTED CRUZ AND RUBIO) except Cotton.
The end looks like a modern list of grievances from the Declaration of Independence.
Well done Charlie!
Meaningless....if the political class cared what anyone said either in public, on the news or on a meaningless “open letter”, things might change.
Since they don’t, won’t and probably can’t, this is just a waste of time and effort.
