And I think this coffee is killing me!
See, if you just soaked all those cigs in the coffee
and then drank it you’d be fine, it’s the smoak that
kills ya.
Di-hyrdous monoxide - it’s lethal stuff that must be reglated NOW!
Sho' beats a PTSD diagnosis that would forever flag me on a NICS check.
Give me a Pepsi Free.
You want a Pepsi, pal, you’re gonna pay for it.
8 litres of WATER every day will kill you.
...
If it’s distilled water it might.
Britain is merrily, happily insane.
It’s not the litre of Vodka a day that done her.
It’s the Pepsi.
Nucking Futz.
There are better legal stimulants than caffeine.
“Unless she were drinking LOTS of other caffeinated beverages this is unlikely to be sole cause of death. 388 mg / 2 liters of Pepsi Max, or 3.1 grams in 8 bottles over the course of a day (say 12 hours); four hours to clear her liver, means 1 gram of caffeine in her system at any one time. LD50 is around 10 grams for a normal weight person, and Iâm guessing she ainât.”
Shame on you for letting facts get in the way of a sensational story. What are you , a conservative?
I had to give up coffee because even one cup made my heart race. After about 10 years my heart was racing all the time regardless of caffeine consumption. Felt like it was going to pound out of my chest. I was diagnosed with Graves’ disease-probably had it all those years and it just worsened over time. I switched to tea (half the caffeine) in the morning and it’s just enough to perk me up without going into overdrive.
If you have an underlying condition too much caffeine can be dangerous.
I am surprised the woman survived the first dose of 8 liters of cola. That stuff is nasty. Her kidneys should have packed it in!
About 1 in 8 people respond very strongly to opioids, so much so that even small amounts pose serious addiction potential. Outside of this subset, a person can get addicted, but primarily through long term use, or moderate use of the most powerful opioids (morphine, heroin, Fentanyl).
Personally, even hydrocodone and codeine (weaker opioids) make me feel bad.
Sources:
-diversion from legitimate patients
-theft from pharmacies and hospitals
-malingering or skillful faking of illness
I am far too lazy to ever be addicted to much more than the internet.
You’re right .. I mean .. that’s a lot of liquid for any one person to consume in one day; no matter what type of liquid it is.
I believe it was more medication related; in that taking the wrong dosage, or not taking it at all .. or after not taking medication for a day, people will take more the next day to make it up .. not realizing that their body may not be able to process that size dosage, resulting in a bad reaction to the medication.
