Is it worthwhile to delete google tracking cookies a few times a day? How to do it?

I’ve debated using TOR just on principle.

Sad thing is I have nothing to hide. They just piss me off.

The sheer volume of people online at any given moment makes going through these records a bit less than reasonable.

That’s pretty much the only kind of anonymity that exists anymore. But if somebody decides you’re worth finding, they’ll find you.

So you use this at the end of the day but during the day google / bing / yahoo has been tracking you and sending this info back to the mothership.

But that is what you essentially asked for.

Whether I run it once a day, or every time I log off a session, still the tracking occurs.

What CCLEANER does do is clear out the temporary work files (speeding up the computer) and deleting the cookies so that I don't get targeted ads.

Cookies really have to do with storing certain 'info' in your computer, not taking it back to the source website. Even if they installed no cookies at all, they track everything you do while you are on their website.

You cannot prevent that.

As I see others have mentioned, you can disguise yourself, but that is a horse of a different color and much more technical.

I know. I happen to like that feature.

NOT having to LOG IN may seem convenient, but that means even when you aren’t on your computer, your account on one or several websites is ‘open’ and ‘active’.
