This is sort of like the US Post Office saying email won't have any disruptive impact on postal mail c. 1995. Given the absurd fees (as a percentage of $$ sent), it's just a question of time before remittances using cryptocurrency become the norm, IMHO.

Another good day in the crypto markets, in case anyone hasn’t noticed. Clearly, bitcoin is doomed! ;-)

I am a professional photographer.

I can attest to the significant changes in my job. Many shooters could not transition from film to digital to Internet.

I was a chemist when I started. Now I spend as much time in fron of the computer as I do behind the camera.

Bitcoin may not be the “end all” to digital money. But the change has started.

Money gram better get their act together. Usually the same people on the photography forums spouting how great film is, are the ones who have lots of time on their hands.

Money Gram and their like should step up and ate the lead in money changing bits and bytes.

If bit coin fans really believe, let them open currency exchanges in neighborhoods where they are needed and compete. I don’t really know. But proof is often in reality and not in fantasy articles.
