Our stuff goes in a Salvation Army bin and sometimes Saint Vincent DePaul. However the folks at our local SVDP store take half the stuff home and Ebay it for a nice profit.

Goodwill does the same. They take the donations and sell them on Ebay. Our local Salvation Army store employees keep the good stuff that comes in. I once put a bag of kid’s clothes out for the trash. Within the hour a woman pulled up in a van who had 5 kids and was going through them. I told her to take the whole bag if she needed it. At least I know someone got benefit from them.
