These âscientistâ use the term positive feedback without the slightest understanding of positive feedback and its associated effects.
...
Yep. They are paid shills for bad government, not scientists.

Doesn’t radon gas come from igneous rock? As opposed to sedimentary and metamorphic rock?

“Reunite Gondwanaland!”
That would upset a lot of people...especially African-Americans.

If you look at the data you could come to the conclusion that the K/T extinctions where due to a double hit in Mexico and where India was, Shiva hit.

Look at the data. I was looking for info on the Deccan Traps when I found this theory, makes a lot of sense when you look at extent of the extinctions on the K/T boundary.

The dinosaurs might have been in decline due to the long term affect of the Deccan Traps and were finished of by the asteroid? It does sound quite possible.

I think that if you look at some of the arguments the Deccan Traps where caused by the Shiva impact.

"The most dramatic climatic effect is global warming due to greenhouse-gases from LIPs," explains Ernst. "Subsequent cooling (and even global glaciations) can be caused by CO2 drawdown by weathering of LIP-related basalts."
IOW, bull****.

I’m aware of the Shiva impact theory. However, 66 m years ago the location of India was over the Reunion plume area on its way to its collision with the Eurasian plate. So there a couple of question. Somebody will figure it out.

“...some of the largest coal reserves in the world are contained within them. Those reserves fueled the industrial revolution, and helped build the United States into the superpower it is. It is easy to underestimate their importance...”
