I am curious though, how do you explain Mark Levin’s (Mr. Purist) support of Donald Trump?

I was unaware.

...and it’s a great message.

Part of it is, to be sure.

Unfortunately it is leavened with a great deal of personal buffoonery.

Perhaps much of it is feigned; Trump is, after all, a master of kayfabe.

Lol, we have agreement!!!!

That’s notable on FR!

But, if Ted can’t close the gap, Trump is hands down the man, to wit:

1. He’s SMART! Having spent 40 years as a real estate developer myself, Trumps amazing to have fought off the lawyers, environmentalists and their lawyers, bankers, government bureaucrats, unions, mafia, corrupt politicians, courts and other assorted crooks and still have 10 Billion dollars. That’s an amazing feat all by itself and it given short shrift by too many. Looking at goofy Obama, this attribute all by itself qualifies him to be President!

2. Self-funding. That’s unheard of in history. Not beholding to anybody.

3. Sees immigration as the threat it is.

4. Handles Americas # 1 enemy THE PRESS better than anybody.

5. Has more experience with big money than anybody including Cruz.

6. Understands the threat of PC.

I could go on endlessly but this writing is already too long.

> “You sure you replied to the right person? “

What does it matter to you or anyone else? He’s a nube in the ignorance of the true non-caricatured character of Donald Trump. He doesn’t know who Donald truly is. Doesn’t matter how long he’s been here; that’s irrelevant.

BUT THE POINT IS ....he came onto a Donald Trump thread and proceeded to bash Trump on false information and impressions. He attacked the assembly of those that chose to participate in a thread that supports Trump by falsely characterizing their favored candidate when in fact, the supporters of this thread know better.

You came and criticized those who defended Trump against Valentine’s slander and proceeded to lecture the defenders on giving the attacker (Valentine) the right to support whoever he wants ....RIDICULOUS! Ridiculous because no one ever tried pressuring Valentine to not support whoever he favored.

Now it is clear that Valentine is a Cruz supporter as am I, and it is also clear that Valentine is doing a disservice to Ted Cruz by bashing Donald Trump. Ted Cruz has never criticized Donald Trump nor would he ever other than to highlight policy differences. Therefore, Valentine’s tactics are unfit to promote Ted Cruz and he should reconsider his approach.

It is not Donald Trump’s fault nor the fault of any of his supporters that he leads Ted Cruz in the race. So bashing Donald Trump for being ahead of one’s favored candidate is bad form as it connotes sour grapes of a would-be sore loser.

Ted is doing well, and is getting better. He will continue to do better throughout the primary election season. My donations to his campaign and those of others have ensured he can go the distance.

Valentine is frustrated and doesn’t understand the following of Trump. I tried to set him straight and provide insight. But he refuses to ‘get it’.

I’ll repeat again Trump’s conservative strengths taken from Helicondelta’s list here:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/3330070/posts?page=24#24

and lastly Donald’s decades-long unswerving support and love for our brave warriors and veterans:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/3330070/posts?page=86#79

If Valentine can’t handle all the above facts and insists on bashing Trump in a slanderous way in order to perversely promote Cruz, then I suggest he start his own thread that promotes Ted and leaves Donald out of it. I will likely join such a thread and participate in boosting Ted Cruz’ incredible bona fides but I will not participate in bashing Donald Trump in a perverse effort to boost Cruz. That’s just plain wrong.

An apology to me and others on this thread would be classy but I don’t think we will be seeing one. A thank you for providing insight on Donald Trump would be even classier but it’s also likely to not be in the works. The attitude and noted acumen of the antagonists predict no such class acts to be forthcoming.

The people who are coming kicking and screaming are the Rinos on this forum....>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

At this point RINOs are comparable to members of the Flat Earth Society living in a spherical universe......the electorate has outgrown RINOs as Dinos. RINOS no longer count and will soon be extinct.

You are doing Trump no favors with your gratuitous nastiness. You accuse me of bashing and slandering Trump. No such thing. You will find me saying gracious things about Trump on this very thread, along with my reservations.

I never slagged, slandered or bashed him at all. I honestly expressed my reservations about the man, nothing more.

Obviously you have a very different impression of him. Great for you.

Let’s be clear about one thing: I do not fear the opprobrium of asshats like you. Free Republic is a place there I can express my opinions without fear.

I will continue to do so unapologetically.

If there is an apology due it is from you for the outright lying about me.

I will say this: compared to you Trump is a man of notable honor, integrity and class.

Liar.

Your comments were distinct bashing and slander. You charged that he is a big-government liberal and doesn’t have the temperate manner required for the White House.

Go away now. You have nothing to offer anyone here except hyperbole and disinformation.

And don’t speak to me of class because that is something you do not possess here.

He is canny, that is for sure. He is also decisive and has developed an intuition that serves him well in his business arena.

2. Self-funding. That’s unheard of in history. Not beholding to anybody.

That is not appealing to me. That makes him a likely autocrat. I want a President who is beholden to the people who elected him.

3. Sees immigration as the threat it is.

Yes, this was his original appeal and it remains his strongest point.

4. Handles Americas # 1 enemy THE PRESS better than anybody.

Trump is a master of kayfave and the press responds is if programmed. They just can not help it. Big points to Trump.

5. Has more experience with big money than anybody including Cruz.

I am not sure what you are getting at here. I do not see big money as the problem, or that would REALLY disqualify Trump. I see the problem as a century-long drift into Federal tyranny and a complete sidelining of the Constitution (two sides of the same coin). Does Trump even care about this? Or does he simply want to use Federal power to a different end?

6. Understands the threat of PC.

Yes, he does. But this does not set him apart.

re your response to:

#4. I think you meant kayfabe.....with a “b”. Assuming you did, we totally agree.

#2. “autocrat”....hmmm..........”absolute power”.... a “real” threat to the American people contrasted to the demonstrated and REAL threat of TOTAL corruption that we see now? I think him not being able to be bought is his # 1 strength. The salt and pepper to self funding his campaign is not taking a salary. This point is REAL and sets him apart from EVERYBODY. I hope he insists that the salary be Publicly and with great fanfare applied to the national debt.

#5. ....what I was getting at is that BIG MONEY, as in Trillions, puts you in rarified air with only a few people in the world that really understand it. Trump won’t be starting off cold and will have good instincts developed over decades of borrowing billions for his own projects. Plus, he already knows the top people in the world to put on this problem and he can converse with them (i.e. hold his own). This debt is a manageable problem if you have the balls to know what to do and then the backbone to stick to your guns. I fear that all the rest except Cruz are way too weak on this issue and will be manipulated and intimidated by the big money boys like George Bush was in 2008.

Yes, with a “b”. Typo.

Trump is not member of the WWE Hall of Fame by accident!
