Almost anything is allowed, but the limitations are in the guide to the forum. I do not see that your appraisal is out of bounds; but in discussing things with Buckley, he might have asked you to stick to the dictionary and its usual definitions in developing your logic. I was just reminding you of that.
Nice shot of him, BTW. It's interesting that you are shocked that my point of view is somewhat different than yours. A defensive-aggressive response is probably not going to help you forward your argument, either. Just an observation --
Somehow you think I need to follow your advice in furthering my "argument", when, in fact, I am not in an argument. Only you are...with yourself. I was just stating my opinion about a situation, which BTW, I can arrive at on my own without your counsel.
So I'll reiterate my opinion, less you didn't get it the first time. This DC mayor is arrogant and too full of herself if she has to order people to stand when she enters a room. I know two former mayors of cities, albeit smaller than Washington, who would laugh out loud at the audacity of this woman' inflated view of her own self importance. This is not about "respect" but "conceit"on her part.
Have a great day, pal. :-)
