Obama on Saturday called for limiting the amount of standardized educational testing to two percent of classroom time, addressing the growing concern across the county about an over emphasis on test taking.
"Learning is about so much more than just filling in the right bubble," Obama said in a video released on Facebook.
Obama and outgoing Education Secretary Arne Duncan plan an Oval Office meeting Monday with teachers and school officials who are working to reduce testing time.
Obamas efforts should be welcome news for teachers and their powerful and largely pro-Democrat unions that say educators performance evaluations shouldnt be tied to standardized test scores.
Hillary Clinton embraced the principles laid out by Obama.

Democrats have always kept their slaves stupid. They’re much easier to control that way. Knowledge is power and the truth shall set you free. Democrats don’t want their constituencies having real knowledge or real power.
Government schools aren’t capable of teaching any content beyond victim studies and how to put a rubber on a banana. So, any testing beyond that is likely to reveal things the schools would like to keep hidden.
