Because those who drank of the New Wine of the gospel have found the Most High superior to any earthly buzz.
[[Its report said 50g of processed meat a day less than two slices of bacon increased the chance of developing colorectal cancer by 18%. Meanwhile,]]
ooooh scary- 18% My goodness- but what does this really mean? It does NOT mean you have an 18% chance of getting colon cancer- it means that of all the folks who get colon cancer, (which is only 5% of the world’s population), there will be an 18% increase which raises this 5% figure up to 6% chance- meaning you will only have a 6% chance of getting cancer if you eat processed meat every day
[[Overall, the lifetime risk of developing colorectal cancer in the U.S. is about 1 in 20, or 5 percent, according to the cancer society. By the WHO’s calculations, having a cold-cut sandwich every day would only raise that to around 6 percent.]]
[[The baseline risk for a 50 year old man for developing colorectal cancer over the next ten years is 0.68%.]]
according to the article I cited above, folks have apparently a 5% chance of getting colon cancer (or 1 in 20 people)
You’re comparing wine to beer. Frenchmen make good wine. Englishmen and Germans make good beer. That itself tells you something. Poles don’t make it with any distinction, but they sure like to drink it and sing polka songs. In Heaven there is no beer...
If you eat tofu for 120 years, you will live longer. If you eat fried bacon for 120 years, it will shorten your life span.
But if it did then it would be free, and you would not get drunk (or want to) or overweight.
