Missed it. It is succinct, and says all that needs to be said about the determination to be free.
I actually find myself thinking a lot about the choice we may have to make here in the US once again.

All of those “alpha-males” are dust now....
Only Alpha-Male quote that matters now to them is this one:
John 14:6
Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

And quite a few of these “Alpha dogs” got their asses kicked.
How about we quote people who won by being true Alphas, those who could instill inspiration in their own—and persuade their will upon others.
I am so tired of Americans holding up their ability “to kick ass” and “blow shit up” as things we should emulate.

The Jimmy Buffett cover of “Paradise” was on the radio yesterday when I was picking my daughter up from work. The whole line (wouldn’t fit in the tagline field) is, “And there’s a backwards old town that’s often remembered, So many times that my memories are worn.”
His was Paradise, Kentucky. Mine is Leonard, Missouri.
Funny, I just looked it up to check the lyrics, and Wikipedia says it was recorded in 1971. We sang it in elementary school in 1973 or so; my brother played the guitar.
