Yeah I agree. As good as it looks and how much I would love to purchase one, my current laptop and desktop work just fine, so I really cannot justify the expense. However, for those in the market, I would recommend a look.

I'd be curious to know where Microsoft see's itself competing against Apple in the notebook/ultrabook space.

I'm not sure because I haven't look at the prices of Apple's notebook offering(s) in awhile but it seems to me that Microsoft has flipped the tables on Apple, meaning Microsoft's now the more expensive option of the two.
