A Texas mother is creating incredible Halloween costumes for children confined to wheelchairs inspired by her son with Spina Bifida.

Cassie McLelland has been making the fantastic costumes since 2008 when her son Caleb, who was born with the condition, got his first wheelchair aged three.

Since then she has gone onto construct dozens of special designs for him and his wheelchair, including from Mario Kart to Batman and his Batmobile.

I thought you were supposed to abort children like this?

Great mom!

I know everyone here hates George Will but he has done some great pieces about his child with down syndrome:

That's really cool. Reminds me of this video where a dad made his son's wheelchair into an ice-cream truck: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X00NlTbIxBE.

Search “wheelchair costume” on Youtube and you will find a few others there. Codington Elementary does a nice bit every year so search that too.

(Warning, these videos are hard on your eyes and will make them water)

Needs some girl costumes. I’m thinking a pumpkin carriage with a princess dress.

Good point, I didn't see any at the link.
