My only weakness .....Sometimes, it is the right thing to do. Especially, when owners repeatedly allow aggressive dogs to run loose.
I usually resent the cops shooting dogs but loose Pit Bulls is another story.
Three nights ago we were walking our Chihuahua Coco on a leash down the street in our neighborhood and all of a sudden maybe 75 yards away I see this large white Pit Bull running loose down by the lake. We know this dog as it trapped our neighbor, his hound dog and daughter up in a yard one night last year. So we stopped and very slowly were turning to go back to the house. That dog spotted us all the way from the lake and started heading for us barking and challenging us. I told Mr. GG2 just pull out the .40 cal and shoot it. So I picked up our dog and started back to the house and Mr. GG2 God love him charged at the dog yelling at it and took off. But its yuge and if it came after you and you were not armed you would get killed.
One of these days the people that own that dog are going to jail when it attacks some kid while running loose. Or its going to come in our yard and Mr. GG2 is going to shoot it. Where are the cops when you need them. LOL!
My only weakness .....For all the folks who defend pit bulls, I ask if they would send their children outside to play? What if they were Labs or other typically non-violent dogs?
At what of the scumbag owners who risked lives in the neighborhood?
Like all pitbull owners, these scumbags deserve prison.
Owners who have dogs that are not socialized at a young age with people and other dogs are asking for trouble.
