(1) Is there any evidence that screaming at umpires improves win/loss records?
(2) Is there any evidence that certain teams suffer more from questionable officiating than others do?
(3) Is it Mattingly's fault that a grown man like Seager forgot to do his job?
(4) The Dodgers spent under $90mm for 18 pitchers this season and over $90mm for a dozen bats. They clearly went offense - why do you think they didn't?
(5) Lasordas are difficult to find - they do not grow on trees. There aren't many Mattinglys that get their teams to four playoffs in five years. What does it mean to be "proactive" - other than screaming at umpires? Is it telling people to run off the basepath in order to sucker-charge shortstops when they are turned around in the air and can't defend themselves?
(6) One thing that was obvious to me is that the Mets had much more camaraderie between players than the Dodgers. Is that Mattingly's fault (it could be) - or is it the fault of a team that has a lack of leadership among the players? Bad locker room personalities like Puig?
(7) Do you thing Mattingly had more authority over personnel decisions than Farhan Zaidi?
2) Mattingly is dead wood. Lasorda brought character to the team and they loved him for it. Lasorda LOVED his Dodgers, Mattingly seems to be there WHY I DO NOT KNOW.
3) The Dodgers need a FIREY manager, not a bump on a log.
4) Get RID of Puig and MAKE ETHIER THE MANAGER! I think if you set Ethier loose as Manager, he'll become a REAL manager not just a figurehead.
Seager needs to go. His mistake was inexcusable. Seager AND Mattingly’s fault.
