Gotcha. I mean she’s fine as “girl next door” type. But LV is a “10” (just her dreamy blue eyes alone...).

And as an abused woman turned into a strong survivor, and baby Judith’s savior, she is the ultimate feminist story.
But she doesn’t hate all men and still makes spring cleaning casseroles, so it is as if she doesn’t count - though she readily takes up arms to kill people who threaten her tribe, regardless of gender.

JEB BUSH: SUPERGIRL ‘LOOKED PRETTY HOT’

“‘Supergirl’ is on TV — I saw that when I was working out this morning. There’s an ad promoting Supergirl. She looked pretty hot,” Bush said. “I don’t know what channel it’s on, but I’m looking forward to that.”

Yeah, I saw that. You’d think someone that powerful would’ve married someone remotely attractive instead of a midget Latina Col. Rosa Klebb klepto.

‘Supergirl’ actress responds to Jeb Bush’s ‘hot’ comment

In an appearance on “CBS This Morning” Monday, Benoist, 27, was asked if she had heard about the 62-year-old candidate’s comments — and couldn’t contain her laughter.

“I heard about it, but I don’t know what I think about it,” the new “Woman of Steel” said, laughing. “I’m glad he’s excited to watch the show.”

Benoist added: “I think everyone would be able to take something from it, but I would really love to reach young girls, and to be a good role model for them.”

Note to Hollywood: This is how you respond to a loaded question without alienating half your potential fan base.

Female super heroes have largely gotten the short end of the stick, no pun intended. Lets face it, comic books are a genre written by guys for guys... I do agree that a female hero has to be a hero first, not a female.... when you focus on them being a female over them being a hero, you lose the argument.

My biggest issue with the current trend of superhero tv shows is just like all TV shows today, the gay propaganda permeates... they have to stick gay characters in, or turn characters gay for no reason just to have one... they add no plot line significance, but are there because its part of the normalization propaganda.

Russle T Davies started the trend when he Revived Dr. Who.... I keep telling my black friends, that if blacks were over represented on TV as badly as homosexuals are today, white actors wouldn’t be able to find work. 1% of the population, yet every show has to have a character in it somewhere that light in the loafers.. its nonsense and its clearly propaganda.

From a political perspective may have been less a consideration than wondering how to reply to a guy who looks to be in his 70s inferring that he wants to bang you like a drum.

One of the neat things about scifi/hero/action shows right now is that there are so many. It may not be possible to avoid the token representative nonsense, but it is possible to minimize it.

Recently, I watched a Quantico interview bragging about the super diverse cast and how minorities prefer to watch shows with people that look like themselves... Ok, I’ll take their word and leave that show for the minorities. There are plenty of other shows I can enjoy that either 1.) look like me or 2.) don’t have to make it sound like an advantage that they don’t look like me.

I don’t think it is doing that well, but the player is a good example of such a show. Yes, the hero is a white male, but the Wesley Snipes could easily take him (and has) and quite frankly, IMO the blonde female is by far the coolest character in the show.

Minimize? are you kidding me? One of the first in this generations Super Hero TV shows Arrow they made the hero himself gay... Shield which had been one of my favorites, because it had not had the token gay characters, introduced one in first episode of this season... Its not unique to this genre of shows, its full on propaganda, nearly every show on TV has to have at least 1 character, generally for no real reason other than the propaganda token.

Its nearly impossible to find a TV show in prime time that doesn’t go out of its way to wedge a gay character in for no reason, other than propaganda.

Russel T Davies set the model they are all going by, make sure you have at least 1 gay character, no matter how irrellevant that is, make sure its in there and make sure the audience knows they are gay... when he brought back Dr Who... since then its slowly become mantra on broadcast TV.

Its pathetic, they go out of their way to in your face a character sexual orientation, even if it has ZERO bearing on anything. Got a character that will only be on the screen for 2 minutes if that, well just make sure the audience knows they are gay... will not be relevant to anything else that will ever happen, but make sure you put it in there... its such propaganda and pandering that it is just flat out patronizing.

As I said, if blacks were as over represented on TV today as much as homosexuals are, white actors wouldn’t be able to find employment.

Arrow, Flash and Shield... all have had token characters, typically in minor roles. I haven’t seen anything about the arrow himself being gay. Would be news to half the females characters on that show.

iZombie, super girl (only one episode so far), the player, minority report, stitchers, and limitless either do not, or have had something so minor that I didn’t notice. The funny thing is that the vast majority of the programs I just listed either have female leads or very strong female characters. Just they don’t feel the need to constantly wear it like a chip on their shoulder. It may come up occasionally, but it isn’t a recurring theme.

The next time some victim group is preaching about the need for more diversity in casting, I’d love someone to ask them how they feel about the fact that conservative Christians that aren’t villains are almost non-existent in mainstream Hollywood shows/movies. Do they hate us so bad that they don’t think we need someone “like that” we can look up too?
