While we’re discussing doom, here’s some info from a little recent research.
Overall U.S. oil production is declining again, while global consumption rises. The most recent increases have been from OPEC, drilling more holes in producing plays. Bankers are promising to pump as much as $750 million more in junk investments to help some shale plays limp a little further.
The drought is expanding to the east again for now.
