The authors of a research paper are not yet ready to publish their paper, but hints so far indicate they will be presenting their evidence of a catastrophic “heat event” caused by an astronomical impactor, such as a comet or small asteroid that mostly burned up when impacting the Earth’s atmosphere above the Jordan Valley and the sin cities. Such an event is capable of compressing the atmosphere with the impact wave to crush the landscape below the point of impact in the above atmosphere and raise the air temperatures to hundreds or thousands of degrees Fahrenheit in the explosive flash.

Speculatively, the flash of light that blinded the wicked outside Lot’s doorway could have been the atmospheric impact of a meteor preceding the later main impact, and the final rain of destruction could have been the main swarm of objects in a comet or small asteroid disintegrating upon impact in the atmosphere above the Jordan Valley.
