Some of the most fun times of my life I had on Halloween — from early childhood well into adulthood even .... Never once was it ever about satanic worship or demonic crap.
Seems every year I would win the costume contests as well during my college years .... Then dressing my own kids up throughout the years — so many priceless memories and photos!
We hear about the weirdos in the news — but most good people are just all about the fun, the costumes, the candy, and celebrating the last time one can run around outside without freezing your bum Off.
I’m a NP now and I will ask the pediatric patients what they’ll be for Halloween ... Their eyes just light up talking about their plans ... I’m not sure what is so demonic about wanting to dress up, use your imagination, be with friends....
Nothing. You're right...it's basically a chance to act a little goofy. That's all it is to 99% of most people who, like me, enjoy Halloween.
My parents were very religious, but they saw nothing wrong with Halloween either. As adults, they didn't get as excited as us kids, but my mother would sometimes make us masks. It was just an occasion for kids to have fun and get candy. Nothing more.
